I like all four agreements, but my biggest challenge is "Don't Take Anything Personally". Easier said than done.
As for #1-that one will be hard too as gossiping is such great fun. LOL |

Who are Don Miguel Ruiz and Don Jose Ruiz? They sound like they just came down from a mountain top after holding audience with a guru who lives up there, and contemplates life. Life is, after all, about a few common sense rules and ancient wisdom abounds with the need to transcendend the ego. Which is why what I find conspicuously absent in the list posted here is a reference to the negative vibes of an inflated ego which fuels a need to deceive while pursuing a demand attention. Like the other caveats that trait has great relevance to the atmosphere of this board.

Life is, after all, about a few common sense rules and ancient wisdom abounds with the need to transcendend the ego. Get your facts straight "nolandfane". "Caveat" is the Latin word for warning or caution. And the fact that you don't know this, pretty much invalidates everything else you just said. You still don't get. Ego has nothing to do with my insistence that people be upfront instead of duplicitious. |
