She wasn't thrown out - her constituents did NOT re-elect her. And that's her own damn fault. She's responsible for her pissy demeanor and her perpetual bad hair days!!! (And BTW, that's not a "natural" that's just fucked up hair!!!)

Seems like chrishayden lives in constant fear that white people may somehow find out that all black people don't think alike, and blacks should, therefore, always keep up "appearances" just in case white folks are monitoring blacks to see if any of them think for themselves. |

"The powers that be are not responsible for her demise. She killed her political career all by her lonesome." Ya got that right. People grew weary of her hustle, unprofessionalism, MIA in Congress and her race card antics. The people who voted her out were tired of her theatrics and ultra liberal grandstanding. As many of your recall, those debates this past summer that were nationally aired, where pathetic. Many voters saw right through her. I was not impressed. Had I been in her district, there was no way I would have voted for her. And the venomous rhetoric by the race baiters (e.g. New Black Panther Party) on her behalf, ensured her alienation. Why anyone would believe black people should have voted for her simply because she has black skin also, is beyond me. Black people are not that desperate and dumb. She had to go -right along with those finger in the electrical socket Buckwheat hair styles!

This woman, McKinney, always baffled me. You would think that knowing how hard it is for Blacks to have a successful political career, she would have always put her best foot forward to disprove the naysayers. Instead, she acted bizarre and she looked bizarre. I admire Maxine Waters, (the late) Barbara Jordon, and (the late) "Fighting" Shirley Chisholm. Each of these woman had strong political platforms, didn't kiss no ass, and looked damn good putting you in your place. I can't say the same for McKinney. |

I think "someone" had something to do with her ouster along with the voters. If you remember, her name was LEFT OUT of many of the ballots and voters WHO WANTED TO VOTE FOR HER even complained that the computers in her district ALONE (in all of Metro Atlanta) listed the incorrect district and didn't list her name as a candidate. |

So according to you, Tonya, a "nigger" is somebody who, unlike McKinney, has sense enough to not reinforce stereotypes by playing the role of a buffoon. (No wonder you thought the way to spell "Svengali" was "Swengoolie".) |

Au contraire ToxicTonya. Cynthia McKinney is the exact definition of a "nigger." Stubborn, hardheaded, contemptible, rude, and just plain foolish. You know what I found so bothersome about her outburst when she supposedly punched the security guard in the halls of Congress. She was offended that he didn't recognize her (and BTW she supposedly wasn't wearing/displaying her ID badge). WTF!?!?! He didn't recognize her??? SO FUCKING WHAT!!! Whatever happened to being humble??? Common courtesy??? If the guard didn't recognize her and she wasn't wearing her badge that's HER FAULT!!! And the rest of her bullshit is her fault too. She's a fucking NIGGER and so are YOU!!! |

All the BULLSHIT that's been said and published about Cynthia McKinney (including MOST of the above) is all just irrelevant smokescreen. McKinney was booted out of Congress for only one reason: She - a Black woman - had the audacity to be the very FIRST high profile politician to directly question and challenge the Bush Administration's handling of 911. From that point forward she has had a bullseye on her forehead and back. And, BTW, almost study and investigation proves that she was flatout RIGHT about 911. Now obviously, McKinney's got some etiquette issues that made her a fairly easy target, ESPECIALLY in the current PC/Covergirl world we inhabit. But if at least half of the Democrats in Congress had her foresight, courage and moxie, they might already have control of the Federal government. Cynthia McKinney might be several unflattering things. But I do NOT consider "nigger" to be amongst them. |

Nobody did anything to prevent 9-11. And that's even after the WTC was already bombed in 1992 and most everyone in the intelligence community was aware that another attack was imminent. No increases in airport security, no fortification of our military installations, no protection of our financial institutions, no precautions anywhere. NOTHING. I commend McKinney's balls and fight. We need more of that from everyone. But there is a time and a place for everything. If she had any sense she would have minded her p's and q's because if there was indeed someone "out to get her" all she did was provide them with more reason for doing so. And if she was so brilliant, then why didn't she do something to prevent 9-11??? |

Mzuri, I'm not going to get into what anyone failed to do to prevent 911. Because like Pres. Truman said: "The buck stops HERE!". Bush, more than any/everyone else, is charged with protecting the nation. Not the Congress. Not the Supreme Court. Not even Clinton, his father or any of his other predecessors. And Bush just flatout FAILED. What the hell COULD McKinney do about 911? She doesn't control the CIA, DOD, FBI, NSC or any of the entities charged with investigating/interdicting terrorist threats. BUSH (supposedly) runs those. Moreover, the GOP's run the Congress since 1994, not McKinney's party. The Dems have hardly been able to hold a frickin' Christmas office party since then. And what did the GOP do for 8 years while Clinton was in the White House: Poke around backwater land deals and sperm stains on some skeezer's dress. |

ABM - I don't know what McKinney could have done to prevent 9-11. But since she's the one flapping her lips and finger-pointing perhaps she has a clue. Maybe she should have flapped her lips a little louder prior to. What could President Bush have done? As if the democrats would have done something different. What should have been done? McKinny and Conyers are the only politicians that I have given money to. She was voted out because her party didn't voice any support for her. The real reason she was voted out was bacause the guy that ran against her recieved lots of money from the Israelly lobby. Mckinny was a strong advocate of America not just blindly supporting Israel but taking a fairer stance in our dealing with the Palestinians. I always say, America can't control Israel, Israel has 50 states. Best government money can buy. |

Mzuri, It's NOT about defending Clinton (DAYAM his no dyckcontrol having a$$!) It's about Bush & Co. owning to THEIR shyt. For example, prior to 911, Gary Hart and Warren Rudman, BOTH highly regarded former US Senators, wrote and issued to Condi Rice a report that basically said a terrorist attack on American soil was IMMINENT. And the report specifically mentioned highjacking airplanes as possibly a prime form of weapon. Condi basically filed the report in her Pay No Mind archives. But then after 911 pops off, her crazya$$ had the NERVE to tell the press "No one could have predicted terrorists would use airplanes" to attack the US. And instead of getting FIRED for doing some bvllshyt like that this witch (and, believe me, I'm inclined to transpose the w with a b) get's PROMOTED to Secretary of State!!! I mean, THIS kinda shyt happens. Yet we want to fixate on McKinney's hairdo? VP Cheney shoots a man in the fuhking FACE. Yet we wanna rag on McKinney's squabbling with some security guard? WTF?? |

Why is it that everybody is the black caucus is wrong and McKinney is right?? Is it asking too much of a person representing a district to exercise a little savvy and as, a politician play "the game". In the political arena, you don't give yourself a chance of winning the game unless you play it. Maveriks belong on a cattle ranch... or a Dallas basketball team. |

Well, NTFS, just between me and you - LOL - certainly the Black Caucus has some leverage, and white politicians avoid offending this organization. And actually what "significant feat" has Congress, in general, and McKinney in particular, achieved within the last 20 years?? This body of lawmakers is pretty much a stagnant good ol boys club that scratches each other's backs. e.g. It couldn't pull off an impeachment. It couldn't prevent Bush from getting us into the Iraq quagmire, and it probably is not going to replace Speaker Hassert for his negligence in the current scandal involving congressional pages. Its most current significant thing was the election of black Barak Obama who probably recognized McKinney for what she was: a woman of poor judgment and questionable stability. |
