It's just something they say about people with very dark skin.
I've never heard anyone say that and nothing like that has ever been said to me. But then I do not have what would be described as "very" dark skin. How dark is your skin? (however dark your skin is does not give people the right to say such insulting things to you.)
Also, it's not like Serena and Brandy are the only two dark female celebrities in the world. There are loads of other really dark women in the limelight, including Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Alek Wek, Venus Williams, Cicely Tyson... I've never heard anyone complain that any of the ladies I just mentioned have rank-smelling vaginas, so why would Serena and Brandy be singled out if this was just about them being dark? I also read that Beyonce's pits and breath stink and she's light skinned. Lies are also told about Alicia Keys, and again, she's light |

ABM, you can focus your rebuttal on Patra, P. Anderson or Carmen Electra if you want, the fact remains that (and I think that you know this) assumptions and presuppositions made about dark African women tend to be negative. Couple that with a cultural that is anti-female (because I have never heard a rumor about a celebrity with stinky balls, black or white) and you get rumors like Serena, Patra, Brandy are unhygienic.
Further, I think this cloud of negativity lumped onto dark Black women provides yet another vicious and convenient excuse for black men to revile BW.

Here is my evidence that Serena's pooty stinks: a friend told me. So, no I have no proof. I have never put my nose inside her panties or anything like that. The friend who told me is the friend of one of Serena's ex boyfriends. In my opinion it seems unusual for somebody to compliment her on being fine as hell and then say 'but her pussy stinks during sex'. It's very specific. I've heard Whites comment that ALL Black people stink. But I've never known them to single out just the women or Black women's feminine hygiene.
I've heard Blacks say that ALL White people smell like wet dogs. Again, gender is never singled out.
These sorts of comments concerning what an ENTIRE ethnicity smells like are clearly baseless, racist stereotypes. And, as stereotypes tend to be, downright ignorant.
The gender being singled out goes against pattern and that makes me believe this is a BLATANT LIE concerning Serena and Brandy.
As far as what Ms. Williams or Ms. Norwood smells like "down there," I have to say that such gossip sounds catty and, therefore, most likely started by another woman - as it is possibly the worst thing you can say about any woman. I just don't see a dude spreading such a malicious rumor. A man, with no morals and a high school mentality, may lie and say he hit it when he didn't - to save face amongst his boys - or to be vicious. But I just can't see any guy talking about "what it smelled like."
At the odd chance that it is true, which I don't believe for a second, why would the "scent" of a woman matter to another woman? I can only think of three instances where this would be an issue for another woman:
(1) jealousy
(2) payback

Unless you see a specific name at the top of my post, then the post is merely a GENERAL post of my commentary on the subject matter at hand - not directed at anyone in particular.
