im so sick of listening to this bs about "genocide" taking place in the sudan. its just a lie. there is a "clash" of a muslim north and an animist south. its incredible that people would try and claim there is a racial conflict there. will anyone on this board attempt to claim that the people in the north of sudan are not "black".
there is a civil war happening in the sudan, not genocide.

the northern sudanese are "black" people with an arab/muslim culture.

DUMB FUCK, they IDENTIFY as ARAB. NOT BLACK. That one-drop bullshit only applies in the Americas.
Just like ANWAR SADAT who REFUSED to allow Louis Gossett, Jr. to portray him in a movie because he wanted an ARAB man to portray him.
Now, look over the internet and see what ANWAR SADAT looks like, and wonder why he didn't want a BLACK MAN to portray him. Anwar Sadat, BTW, who's mother was a full-blooded DARK SKINNED Sudanese, and he STILL didn't identify AT ALL with BLACK

The black A-Rabs are just like so many Spanish speaking black people. Their goal in regards to identity is to breed out of blackness.These black people ,who identify with Arabs, will feel more loyalty to a Yemeni muslim than they would to a Senegalese Muslim. These same black A-rabs would happily enslave a Senegalese Muslim and fight to the death for a Yemeni "brother".
This is nothing new. This goes on anywhere that Africans lose their culture and become A-rab.
Many of the so-called "latino" blacks, fall into similar category.
I always wonder why there are no Cuban , Dominican or Puerto Ricans representing themselves in the West Indian day parade.
They will all be present on the Hispanic day parade.

I met a guy once that I SERIOUSLY thought was African. He looked like a FOB Ghanian. He ARGUED with me that he isn't black at all, he's latino. He grew up in Panama. His parents were from JAMAICA. Dumb fuck. |

Heck, he was even BLACKER than those pictures posted above. But, according to him, he wasn't black.
It's kind of a stretch to see someone have TWO JAMAICAN parents and NOT consider themselves black, yet we expect everyone with brown skin and only ONE black parent to consider themselves black.
And the really fucking sad part is that when they kill actual UNDENIABLE black people, we dumb americans sit back and AGREE WITH THEM.

renata, dumb CUNT (see i can call names too). the issue was not whether the northern sudanese "identify" as arabs.
i made it clear in my original post that the northern sudanese have an arab religion and culture.
the question was, "are the northern sudanese "black" or not. they clearly are.
all over the planet are "black" (people with dark skin) people, who "identify" with another race. thats not the question.
the northern sudanese ARE "black" people. the issue is not whether they "identify" themselves as arabs. its already been stated that the northern sudanese DO identify with arabs and arab culture. |

Over here in New York, when people say that they are not black, many times it is not because they are denying their African ancestry.
Because Black is many times synonymous with African-American, people will clarify by saying that they are not black (African-American).
In my experience Panamanians , particularly those of West Indian origins are quite conscious and proud of their African origins. They also identify strongly with their country. |

Muchacho, OK I can understand that. I don't necessarily mean "African AMERICAN" when I say black. However, in this particular guy's case even that wasn't an issue. If his parents were both Jamaican, he's JAMAICAN who just happens to speak Spanish. On any Census forms, there's a difference between "black, of African ancestry" and "Latin". That dumbass knew the difference between Latin and Jamaican. I've met other Panamanians who will actually say they're Panamanian, but they're parents are from Jamaica, so they don't consider themselves Latin as they don't have Latin blood. But these are usually dark women who wouldn't be mistaken for Latin even if they wanted to be.
Lil DICK, you know that stupid little one drop rule that makes assholes like you believe Nicole Richie and Mariah Carey and Wentworth Miller is black? Well, these ARABS have more ARAB blood than any of those celebs have black blood and can call themselves ARAB. As far as we should be concerned, the Arabs can KEEP THEIR ASSES, as if they'd consider themselves part of us anyways. I don't know whether to be somewhat happy or FUCKING SICKENED that of all Africa, these are the only ones you feel the need to defend and feel any kinship towards, you sick fuck. Maybe you should be Arab (black only to dumb Americans who LIKE what they're doing to other truly BLACK people) with them. |
