He is looking for every excuse in the book to defend black leadership for their disregard of the genocide in Sudan. I have never actually heard Farrakhan engage about Sudan. He is actually denying the existence of enslavement of the Sudanese by Arabs. I must say as person who had regarded Farrakhan with some esteem at least for his seemingly enduring commitment to the AA community, I am confounded as to his motivation for turning his back on Black Sudanese. An unwillingness to admit that his fellow brown Muslims also have the potential (and an extended 'pre-white global dominance' history) for the same anti-black/anti african hatred that he thought (and perhaps hoped) was innate only to Caucasians.

the truth is there is a civil war going on in the sudan. the people in the north of sudan are "black" people also.
there is a civil war between black people in the north who follow islam, and the animist blacks in the south.
there is NO genocide in the sudan.
if the northern sudanese didn't fight the southern sudanese, the southern sudanese would be raping, and killing the people in north. they have done it before. the southern sudanese would like to overthrow the gov't in the north. the northern sudanese are simply protecting their way of life.
what should the northern sudanese do? allow themselves to be raped and killed by the non-muslims in the south? |
