So far, we've heard (from Ntfs), how black women are overweight, don't take care of themselves physically, are violent and that nappy-textured hair on black women is something to laugh at or diss. We have also heard (from Ntfs), how beautiful Asian women's skin, bodies and hair are. In addition, we have heard from him, that black men are basically Gods and that all women desire them and that they have the best physiques in the entire world. So...
Now, I have a challenge: can anyone come up with anything positive to say about black women? |

As long as we Black women depend on others (White people, Black men, our mothers, our lovers, whoever) to "say something positive" about us for us to feel worthy, we will be--in fact--unworthy. Do not waste your time on those you feel do not see your worth. We can never see our own worth if we are begging others to see it. It is almost as if we are waiting for others to say what is "positive" so that we will then know what to define as such.
This just cannot be. It cannot. What you see as positive about Black women is all you need to see. No further "challenges" are necessary or productive, IMHO. |

Yvettep, Mzuri and Cyinque, it is very obvious the three of you are mature enough to not concern yourself with approval and affirmation from other people. All of you post your opinions, take on detractors and keep on steppin’. None of you concern yourself with what others think. But Boo Boo is desperate for approval and positive feedback. And when she does not get it, she lashes back wildly with personal attacks and profane insults.
She does not understand that this board is a forum for information, accolades, disagreement and discourse. When someone takes a differing opinion to her posts, she over reacts and becomes hysterical. In retaliation for your disagreeing with her, she attempts punish you with a barrage of racist names and unwarranted accusations.
One that I find particularly disturbing and bizarre, is her strange obsession with other women’s underwear, feces and defecation habits. WTF? I have seen some blistering personal attacks and some very vicious name calling on this board before. But none rises to the level of her unnatural fascination and never ending queries and comments about other women’s underwear and feces. This is an open question to anyone who can explain it.

I keep telling everybody that Kola Boof is alive and well in the person of several screen names that appear on this board. These identities resonate with her vibe. These trolls start out like normal posters but gradually the wrath and credo and style and substance of Kola Boof begins to permeate their every word. But it doesn't really matter. As long as there are capable people around to rebut whomever it is that spouts Kola's swill it aint that serious. There's no law against being a self-absorbed Kook like Kola.
As for "igabogal"'s fixation on feces and women's underwear, my personal theory is that she is so full of shit that she has an affinity for it. Probably was toilet trained too early. Whatever. |

NTFS - I can't speak to other ppl's motives. But I prefer to keep my insults and snide remarks on a certain level. When you've been sparring with kola for as long as I have, you recognize all the little ear marks. She and I have a history of clashing. I'm telling you this outburst is vintage kola. Kola is basically a very immature person not above being petty; she erupts in anger and frustration. That's why I've always called her a loose cannon. Well, you got something right - you certainly have been an annoyance. Typically new posters on any discussion forum try to fit in somehow, as opposed to insulting everyone that they disagree with. Unfortunately, different people have different views, experiences and opinions about the issues. But just because someone disagrees with you, it doesn't necessarily make them wrong. I think that it would be utterly boring here if we all had the same mindsets and points of view. |
