I think a Black man who's got his shyt together has a decided advantage over almost any Black woman. Because it's still a man's world. Thus manly power, if wielded and focused wisely, prevails. Moreover, I think such a Black man has an advantage over White women and even many White men.
The PROBLEM is most Black men have to run a fiery gauntlet of bvllsyt (albiet much of it self-imposed) that starts once we hit, say, age 10 that leaves most of us so bruised, battered and disillusioned that we become easy pickens for others. And, ultimately, what might have been the best of us is instead used to destroy us. |

Abm, that is a nice idea (for black men) however ALL the statistics from life expectancy to income to education show me that that is just not true. I don't think black men even have it as good as black women, let alone having any kind of advantage over white men and women. And the fact that is is a man's world works AGAINST black men in countries in the West. America, England etc are run by WHITE men and white men see black men as way way more of a threat than black or other minority women. In an ideal world, white bigoted types wouldn't promote any minority people at all, but in a pinch they're going to feel more comfortable promoting a black or other minority WOMAN. |
