hello everyone my only reason for posting this is to warn all african american about ethiopia.Last year I went down there for the african unite concert in addis I've never experience so much racism in my life it was really sad the kid's were raciest the adult even down to the fuckin bums.Me my self I've never seen anything like that before everyone one on the planet know how african's feel about african american' so I was on my very best behavior butI don't think it really made a diffence.From what I witnessed the ethiopian's love white people and they hate I mean hateeeeeeeeeeeeee black people me myself I'll never go there again not to say africa but I will never go back to ethiopia again. |

Cynique this is not a kalo clone IAM a black male a student from north carolina.I wanted to post this for along time but I've been very busy and I had forgot about it also.I took the train to dc and my cuz drove me out to dulles.She was also tryin to tell me how ethiopian's in dc are but I didn't believe her.there are not alot of ethiopians in N.C. |

Again cynique I swear this is not kalo my real name is Cameron.I wanted aa to know my experience in addis over 15 day's so know one else would waste their time and money going to ethiopia because aa are not wanted there.I don't know kola but I get the feelin that you really hate her.I just join the board today. |

Are you certain that the Ethiopians you encountered on your trip didn't greet you warmly because you're Black? Or was it because you're American?
I can understand Ethiopians rejecting you on the basis of your being American. But I really don't see them rejecting you because you're Black.
As Americans, we have to admit that our country has "a lot of blood on its hands". You don't become the most powerful country in the world by being a good guy.
I've noticed when I traveled abroad that other Blacks throughout the world did not have a problem with my being Black. They did, however, have a problem with my being American.
