The thirteenth season of CBS’ Survivor pits teams of African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic and White players against one another to compete for a million dollar prize. This blatant and offensive example of perpetuating racism is unacceptable. The choice to air this racist programming is nothing less than sensationalism for the sake of ratings. It seems that the producers of Survivor care nothing about a person standing on their individual merits; they want people to be judged by the color of their skin, not the content of their character.
Won't you sign the petition and forward this very important message on to as many people as you can.

I don't think it's racist at all.
I think it's a marvelous idea.
And I hardly think that "black people" are the voice of moral superiority, but rather "slavish" in their inability to stand alone as themselves and for themselves.
This is like saying we can't have the Men against the Women in a baseball game.
Why not?
Why can't we acknowledge that people belong to different groups and show them having loyalty WITHIN and fighting for that group?
I don't see racism....as much as I see FEAR on the part of "some blacks" to represent themselves as anything removed from their various owners.
I hope the Black team wins, but I won't be surprised if the Whites beat the fuck out of everybody.

I want to see it too. I've NEVER watched Survivor. Not a single, solitary airing of it. But if they go the race route, I'm probably gonna TiVo it.
And I expect the White team to kicka$$ too. Because, hell, it ain't like they ain't had PUUULENTY of practice. |

This is just a publicity stunt. They will have the four tribes then they will have each tribe eliminate a member after some event and tribal council. Then they will have a game that will randomly shuffle the players into two teams.
People, this is just a ratings boost for an already popular show. They got too many complaints from the lack of ethnic diversity amond contestants, so they saw this as an opportunity to address those complaints and boost ratings.
They wouldn't be stupid enough to jeopardize their ratings and popularity over "racism". Remember, media is run by Jews, they DEFINED racism for us. |

Personally, I don't believe this version of Survivor is ever going to air. They've already lost one of their main sponsors and certain groups are up in arms. As to the petition, you would need to collect millions of signatures in order for the networks to give a damn. And you need a better reason than a demand for political correctness or that your (or whoever initiated the petition) feelings are hurt. You need to threaten them with boycotting the products of the advertisers, and you need to target the petitions to the advertisers not the network. And just so you know, I like ABM haven't watched Survivor or any other of the current reality based shows not once. If people stopped behaving like mindless drones by faithfully watching every single bit of crap that appears on their boob tube, then the producers of Survivor wouldn't be in the position of shoving this sort of garbage down our collective throats in the first place. |

Well, Survivor is a television reality show, not a college seminar about the cultural divide in the Western World. It's a dog eat dog, winner take all premise and you can't get art to imitate life any better than that. People who dont approve of the show have the option to not watch it. |

Interesting posts. Personally, I have no intention nor need to watch this racist ratings stunt. However, signing a petition is equally ridiculous. I'm a big defender of freedom of expression and thought. That said, although I personally find this cheap trick repulsive, there are those who will probably find this proposed series entertaining. Fine. Let them watch it.
Trying to censor a show by the Race Politically Correct Police and petition nannies is not the way to go. As I said, for those who like race trick shows, fine, let them have their cake. For those who do not approve of this desperate ratings hustle, there are other channels and programs that can entertain you.
