in the CONGO election...
reminds me of SO MANY
"Black" men you see on
the streets of America
...yet he is full CONGOLESE.
It just proves my point that
MOST Black Americans still look
like Africans more than anything
else.
I look at Fantasia, Queen Latifa,
Alfre Woodard, Venus and Serena,
Michael Jordan, Will Smith, Oprah
...and all I see is Africa.
In the streets of Black America,
I see the majority is still OUR
CHILDREN.

This Joseph has a very familliar look...kind of reminds of Dwayne Wade, my Heat honey.
BTW, does anyone plan to watch Fantasia's movie tonight? Because Fantasia doesn't have that typical "video vixen" look, I was worried her carer would stall. It looks like she has some amazing marketing experts on her team. First an autobiography, now a Lifetime movie and I guess she has an album in the works. |

He is trying to get re-elected.
I've just began trying to contact him recently, since I've been in the newspapers in the Congo, because the main library BANNED my books.

From the looks of it, most of Congo’s people aren't much different than the average African American...especially appearance-wise.

These people can afford television and MTV AFRICA.
Believe it or not---"dark brown" Congolese, like Joseph Kabila, are the "light skinned" ELITE in the CONGO.
But the nation is by nature VERY NEGROID with deep FUDGE chocolate complexions to charcoal in the East and North.
TO ME...Congolese are one of the most attractive African groups. Their men are FOINE as shit, across the board. Naturally muscular, Very tall. Very dark.

you can try to link up some guy in the "congo",with black americans if you want. but the fact is black americans, don't think about the congo, don't care about the congo, and don't give a thought to the people who dwell in congo. none of our people give a dam about the congo or whats taking place there. if you think some guy in the congo looks like black americans, so what? what relevance does it have? no black americans care or give a thought to whats going on in the congo. none of our people care. joseph kabila plays no part in the lives of our people. none of our people care what he looks like. the whole topic of this guy is irrelevent. none of our people care what he looks like. yes, sabiana "our people are our people". but im not under the delusion that the people in the "congo" are our people. the people in the congo have dark skin, thats about all. they are not my people. if you want to believe the people in the congo are your people, more power to you. but i don't give a dam about them. they are not my people. |

Lil_ze you could have expressed yourself so much better. On one hand I understand your point that african-americans are a totally independent and different group from the congolese. They have a different culture, a different lifestyle et cetera. Not every black racial group is the same of course (but we were constantly told in the past that we 'all looked alike and acted alike by ignorant buffons, its great times have changed).
But to say the congolese should 'go to hell' just because someone posted a topic about their president is totally over the top and irrational. Your 'beef' is with that person and not the congolese, so don't insult them. |

Lil_ze, you sound like someone who does not read at all or you have been watching too much MTV and have no idea of the rest of the WORLD. America has been in the Congo for a long long time for strategic reasons. America (CIA) killed Patrice Lumumba to make sure that the Congo remains in their (USA) sphere of influence. Why? Because Congo is the only country in the world (apart from Russia) that has strategic minerals. Lil-ze you may be only concerned with NIGGASTAN where you live, but be aware that the CONGO is very important to the USA. You life in your NIGGASTAN may revolve around movies, rappers, crack, strawberry p*ssy, etc. but the other side of the tracks lives and thinks differently and are very happy when they listen to statements like yours. They would rather have WHITE Americans doing all the business with CONGO and make sure that YOU (Lil-ze) only think of Beyonce shaking her big behind.
