You all know how much our poster "Schakspir" (novelist P. Lewis) and I HATE each other. We really and truly do. BUT...I'm setting that aside to announce my pride that he's won THE AMERICAN BOOK AWARD for his novel "NATE". The Awards will be presented in SEPTEMBER...but before then, we will have a big party for P. Lewis and I'm calling TROY on the phone tomorrow to make sure he knows about this. THIS IS MAJOR YOU GUYS!!!! Everybody congratulate Schakspir! This is really hard work and you have to beat literally a THOUSAND other books to win this thing. Writers should know this.

I wouldn't purchase that PIECE OF SHIT if it cost two cents. Not from his racist ass! I'd buy Rush's memoirs first. Or "Diary of a Klan member" ...something worthier like that.

A_womon, I was acknowledging Schakspir's apparent literary success. Because this a website for authors, publishers and readers African American literature; and because Schakspir is frequent poster; I consider such to be the appropriate thing to do. I suppose like you I have not agreed with everything Schakspir has expressed here. But then, I've disagree with ALL of the posters here on some occassions, including YOU. |
