Did anybody watch the first season of this show? It features Flavor Flav, who has about a dozen women in competition to win his heart over.
The new season airs on VH1 tomorrow around 9 or 10pm. |

Ya got that right! I saw the show one time and sat in stunned disbelief! I could not believe how any sane woman or at least one with non-impaired vision could possibly desire any type of physical contact or association with this goofy ass crack head looking buffoon. This man is damn near fifty years old! WTF..??? Is there a hint of reality or adult maturity anywhere in his life?

FOL has the worst portrayal of Black women since BET Uncut went off the air. The ones who act the most animalistic are Black---the heavyset chick who "shit" on the floor (I believe that was staged), the other darkskin chick who ended up fighting the White girl over a bed; she was just off the chain. And it seems the Black women who are "golddiggers" (darker complected) are the first to get eliminated quicker than the other races/ethnicities on the show. Last year, Hottie got eliminated fairly quickly, but Pumpkin's (white girl) fake ass made the top 3.

Viacom does not care about or like Black folk. After viewing three episodes of Season One I refused to watch another episode.
Flava Flav and these women might as well put on black face, sit in a semi-circle and offer up this buffoonery as a modern day minstrel show.
"However twisted and distorted the overall effect was� Minstrelsy was the first example of the way American popular culture would exploit and manipulate Afro-Americans and their culture to please and benefit white Americans."
And the band plays on.

I haven't watch very much of Flava of Love. But I know enuff about it to observe that there are number NON-BLACK women humiliating themselves on that show.
Does that mean Viacom doesn't care about or like them as well? |
