It a stereotype as old as dirt, the fat, sassy, black woman image that the mainstream media created is now acting appalled about. http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/08/01/business/adco.php |

I'd like to see the commercial myself because I don't trust what some people, especially some black people, regard a "caricature." Do anybody have a clip?

This 'big fat woman' caricature is pretty despicable as some (idiots) often believe in stereotype. If this is to become the norm for blacl woman in films how are we suppose to relate to this? I don't know about you but I have a twenty three inch waist and the only fat woman in my family is my mother (because she ate too darn much - she used to be smaller than me and was asked to be a model). I don't understand why black people lie down and take this B.S. I hate when the media potray us as ugly or fat because it reflect and affect our real life. |
