the fact i make an effort to put an end to all the stupidity and lies perpetuated by some posters on this board IS positive.
when i talk about how beautiful ciara, keyshia cole, bianca lawson, rachel true, are THAT is positive. who are these influential black women? india (ugly) arie? do these black women have to be darker than a brown paper bag to be recognized? and why is me questioning the irrational fixation some of the posters on this board have with light skin people, causing drama? don't think you (brownbeauty) are causing "drama" by attempting to take out your frustrations on lighter skin people? why not just start a website called "we hate and are obsessed with light skin people"? that would make more sense than trying to act as if you are making valid posts, when all you are trying to do is project your own feelings on to light skin people. |

Nawwwwww......c'mon, that would deprive them of their delusionary and non-existent perceived feelings of superiority. I guess it’s a flaw in human nature –the need to feel superior to someone else regardless of how ridiculous and unscientific the criteria is. It would be like asking white people to stop believing white skin, blue eyes and blonde hair (just those physical characteristics alone) makes them superior. Figure the odds of that happening.
Some how, their pathological obsession and uncontrollable railing about light complexion vs. dark complexion, gives them a feeling of worth, accomplishment and an intoxicating sense of bravado that is identical to Skin Heads and Neo-Nazis when gleefully bragging about their Aryan racial superiority. By asking them to stop this vacuous behavior (pitting blacks against one another because of something no one has any control over –skin color) would strip them of their sense of worth and the drive to scapegoat and feel superior to something or someone. Hey, what else are they gonna to do?

Because your high yellow skin makes you LOOK more mixed than I actually am----you would actually know much more about being "mixed" than I would.
In real life--it all goes by LOOKS. Not DNA.
Nobody ever looks at me and thinks I'm mixed. But they can look at you and see the Indian and White blood that has diluted and colonized your African blood.

Thank you! I have to admit, some of the accusations, comments, brags and postulations, on this board, are the most bizarre I have ever seen! When did being black become a contest? And why? It seems as if the logic and thinking of some posters has convoluted the concept of being black person into a foot race or bench pressing contest. From the ongoing posted rhetoric, it sounds like being black can be liken to an athletic event! Who’s the blackest? And the sad thing is that it is not restricted to ideology, but it appears to be measured by an arbitrary visual color index. Hold up the Sho Nuff Black E’Nuff Index next to someone’s face –Blam! They can be accurately judged, categorized, rated (the darker the skin the more value and virtue the person has -thus increasing your overall authentic points) instantaneously! People could then be given instant digital hi-tech Black Percentage ID cards on the spot. Hmmmmmm….not a bad idea, huh?
That being said, what is the exact purpose and the ultimate achievement this will bring about, is still a mystery to me. Perhaps someone could explain it to me.
