OK, my sistuhs...please don't hate me for being WISHY-WASHY here or perpetuating the "slut" image of us all.
FORGIVE ME...if that's what I'm doing.
I KNOW you all see me as a "drama queen" and I know a lot of you were pissed when I wrote "Fuck Black Men" and kept talking about my new "Latino" boyfriend....

I had to break up with my Latin love, Eneddio.
The reason is because...I'm being pursued by this really HOT black guy, and the chemistry is so powerful, I just can't resist.
I have never in my life CHEATED on a man---so I don't want to start now.
Eneddio is a wonderful, wonderful guy. We had TONS of fun--he made me feel young and beautiful again.
But it was never serious and I'm bored with him now. I feel that I'm too old and too "intellectual" for him anyway. He never could TALK on my level.
Clifford is from New Jersey, he's about 5'11--one of those people who aren't dark skinned OR light skinned, but right on the CUSP. He has a very masculine bald head, a face like Laurence Fishburne's and he just EXUDES masculinity. His voice is so deep and smooth, it lulls me into slow responses.
I am NOT a slut.
I'm a single woman. I believe that I'm a very good mother. I've got to be 40 by now or very near it. I feel that I'm FREE.
And not that Clifford is any "deeper" than Eneddio. But he's just SO SEXY and he's been hunting me harder than dogs chase rabbits. And I just know that I'm going to get weak and give in.
So there.
I will switch to talking about Clifford from now on.

You can't just go from one man to the next one, or the first one that you meet next after you broke up with the last one. Or the one you met by accident so you think it's destiny or just because you're attracted and he pursues you. My children's father and I split up 2 1/2 years ago.
I was on a break for 2 years.
Only a few months ago did I start back.
Yes, Clifford is the one I bumped into. He wont' leave me alone.

You're right.
I have to admit, though, that I'm primarily only interested in getting fucked by Clifford--really bad.
And part of me knows that I can run back to Ennedio later--though, he's 10 years younger, and we started to "fade". It became more about sex.
I feel like a slut on Desperate Housewives, but then again, they make me feel young and sexy.
I fear that I'm doubting myself because of age and being so alone the last 2 years.
Plus, I have a hot new body.

Rachel, you REALLY need to read my autobiography---because your whole run down on my love life is OFF.
Way off.
I've fucked ONE man the last 3 months and was alone for 2 years before that.
Was in a 10 year relationship with my children's father, the man who OWNS the ranch I live on before that...but he left me for a younger woman.
The whole racial thing here in Southern California---where I stayed alone for 2 years because Black men here just don't date black women, and especially not African women like myself---has been covered, and as I've stated ad infinitum---I REFUSE TO BE ALONE. If no black man wants me, then I will be with one who does.
And you're right--I'm way too old to be playing games--which is why I dumped the man I accepted out of desperation, so that I MIGHT be with the one I really could get into.
Makes sense to me.
I haven't went after anybody--don't know where you got that from. They BOTH came after me.
I will, however thank you for not dragging Osama Bin Laden into this.
Last but not least---I used to be a SLUT, back in my 20's (or rather, I had multiple boyfriends)---and those were some of the happiest times of my life. For those times when no man is offering you TRUE LOVE....I fully recommend having multiple boyfriends, so long as a woman is smart about it and keeps her heart out of it.

It just sort of happened.
Around Age 23:
(ALL Of these were black men)

I had a "friend" at my mother's church. He was trying very hard to convert me to "christianity" and save my soul. And as he tried for months to do that--he "made love to my body, to my spirit".
And those were my BOYFRIENDS...all at the same time and all my needs were met. It was WONDERFUL--until they realized I didn't want a "commitment"---then the "3" that were fucking me starting PRESSURING ME for a comitment.
