What about the Fulani, Waadabe, and Tutsi ppl? Aren't those black ppl with "European" features? The Fulani and Waadabe ppl have thin noses, thin lips, and long wavy hair. Are those ppl mixed? And what about the Ethiopians. Alot of those ppl look straight up Indian(as in ppl from India)? Are those ppl considered Black? |

ALL of the tribes/people you have mentioned have been HISTORICALLY colonized, enslaved and MIXED by outsiders. Fulani, Waadabe and Tutsi were among the first tribes to welcome Arab tradesmen" and the white man" back when Whites lived in Africa as "traders". There are "PURE" Fulani who are all black African looking....and there are "yellow" Fulani who are the result of 100's of years of British, Dutch and Portuguese admixture. There are mixed Ethiopians in the EAST and in the capital city of "Addis Abbaba"....and then there are the MAJORITY of Ethiopians who are blue black with slender Nilotic noses. "Thin noses" are natural to EAST AFRICAN Nilotic Blue Blacks. They are extremely tall, skinny people with high cheekbones and thin noses. The "Big Booty" and muscular body frame is indicative of WEST AFRICANS...not East African blue blacks who are very tall and thin.

And let's not forget that GRIND has already established I myself am technically a "MULATTO". IF I AM MIXED...then what do you think of the Fulani and Woodabe??? But STILL....they are BLACK.

BUT LET'S NOT LOSE SIGHT OF THE QUESTION BEING ASKED. WHICH IS..... DO BLACK PEOPLE JUST NATURALLY COME IN AN ARRAY OF DIVERSE COLORS??? THIS THREAD "PROVES" THAT BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT. AFRICA HAS BEEN "RAPED" AND CONQUERED. ________________ And Incidentally all of the people pictured so far would be considered "BLACK" by Africans. None of these people are high yellow or Non-African looking.

Tutsi's (?) look more like AAs to me. That's why the movie "hotel Rwanda" hit really close to home. Had we been living there, most of my family and I would have easily been amongst the one's to get slaughtered. |

Now that I compare ACTUAL photos of how REAL Tutsi's and Hutu's look, there isn't much of a difference. They look alike (and could all pass for AAs). This article describes them differently appearance-wise. But when you glance at the photos even, they are not. It was obviously more about class than color. http://www.cet.edu/ete/modules/mgorilla/mgethnic.html |

I agree w/Kola. Africa has been raped and conquered....which leads me to a follow up question: How do you feel about the muslim faith? What I mean is, it's been said that Christianity was forced on Blacks by white folks....couldn't the same be said about the muslim faith? Did Black Africans even know what muslim/islam is or was it brought to them by the arab "tradesmen"? (sorry to thread jack, Serenasailor). |

Rachel, The only REAL religion is POWER. Because ALL inevitably succumb are are made subjects of such. Anything else is but some glossy manifestation of that. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Animism, etc. are only as good or bad for foks, Blacks included, as those who practice such. |

ABM, thanks for the response! I understand what you're saying but that is not answering my question. For many years Black Moslems act as if Christianity is the white man's religion. That blacks would have no concept of it if there was no trans-atlantic slave trade, missionaries, cooning ass niggas that just love whites, etc. Well, since Africa has been invaded by Arabs and that is their religion, I'm curious to how is that any different. Meaning wasn't islam forced on the Black population just like christianity?

Rachel, Simple answer to your question: Foks who assert that Blacks should be Muslim rather than Christian are in all likelihood hypocritical Muslims. But, again, my point is it doesn't really matter HOW Black foks became Christian, Muslim, etc. Because if you review the history of all religions virtually ALL of them were foisted upon others via the business-end of spear, sword, gun or canon. And that occurred between foks who had the same AND dissimilar race, skincolor and creed. |

Wow. Kola, you didn't hold back a damn thing. GREAT INTERVIEW. I can't imagine going through what you have been dealing with for years. DAMN....and I thought Americans were colorstruck. My goodness. Children tied up in back yards? WTF? UGH. I read where you basically turned away from Islam and that religion was man's way of retaining power. DAMN... |

The Fulani and other Africans have a long history of being mixed with non-blacks and their culture and phenotypes reflect that. In West Africa the Fulani were instrumental in spreading Islam, sometimes violently. Their nomadic lifestyle was well suited for this. Consequently in West AFrica you will find Fulanis/Pulaar/Peuls wherever Islam is found: Cote D'Ivoire, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Guinea etc. I've never met an African muslim who will admit to Islam as being foreign. Islam has certainly been more open to acculturation because many practices such as female cirumcision and having distinguished people serve as intermediaries between Allah and others continue and are now believed by many to be a part of Africanized Islam. One Fulani even told me that whereas Islam may have come from a Semite (Muhammad) it was designed for Africans. It's hopeless to argue with the faithful. Many Ethiopians, Malgaches, and many other East Africans are multi-racial due to geography and history. If you think about it, if the Suez canal did not exist the middle East could very well be considered part of Africa. And the Suez canal is an artificial man-made structure...just as the idea of continents defining ethnicity is also an artificial, man-made concept. |

Kola the thanks is to you. I am not surprised that Louis Farrakhan is called what he is by the Sudanese. When I see this man I see a pawn of Arabs first and a biracial second. It is mildly amusing to hear him rail against whites. This is in spite of the fact that they are clearly amongst his ancestors and, like Henry Gates Jr., probably dominant amongst them. I read a book about a former high ranking NOI member some years ago and lost whatever respect I had for him then. |
