What is up with Rosario Dawson. She has got to be one of the biggest sell-out half-black women in the industry. Does anybody notice that in all of her roles she is paired with WM. And she always plays a WM mistress. I think she is a very limited actress. I think Halle Berry, and Thandie Newton have gone down the same path. Thats why I am a big fan of Gabrielle Union. the directors have control over who she is paired with on screen. i like gabrielle union alot. rosario dawson is taking the roles she is offered by the movie industry. i don't think she is a "sellout" for playing a role in a film. | ||

Dawson bores me (about as much as does Jessica Alba). She's interesting looking. But there's sort of a bland sameness about everything she does. I don't think Dawson (and Alba) being multiracial has any bearing on how I feel about her, though. | ||

Frankly, I couldn't care less. I wouldn't know Rosario Dawson from a can of paint. She is one of many celebs that least interests me, and I have yet seen her cast in a movie role that I'd waste time in the theater to see. That's not really true BB. She was "chased" by Jazy Z. A few other black men chased her. They were never officially dating. She's been engaged twice, both times to White men. She has always been photographed at clubs, etc. with white boys and she does not identify with black culture, and who can blame her. She's very much like Jennifer Beales. Cynique, There are a number of things I wish I were or could do especially well. They include being as skilled a basketball player as Dwayne Wade, being able to sing like Marvin Gaye and perform like (a young) Prince and being able to swap IQ points with Cornell West.
