I saw Bill O'Reilly passionately railing away at the Times for printing the story. He refers to any decisive and definitive factual criticism of Bush (unless he does it) or the so called disastrous war on terror, as far left Bush bashing and counter productive to the so-called war on terror. The man is on a personal Jihad against what he terms an out of control radical left wing media with dedicated surrogates (e.g. Cindy Sheehan) who are bent on undermining the Bush Administration.
He bitterly attacked the Times article (I doubt if he ever read it) as nothing less than misleading left wing sour grapes propaganda. Amazing how right wing zealots like Bill O'Reilly, Laura Ingram, Michelle Malken, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity foam at the mouth with contempt and seething anger at any questioning or valid criticism of Bush’s policies (foreign and domestic) or the quagmire in Iraq and Afghanistan (the Taliban are making a serious resurgence and comeback!).
The Times article is on point. The US cannot conduct a successful effort to curb or seriously address Islamic global terrorism by adopting a policy of "our way or no way -period!"This obnoxious arrogant stance has lead to failed antagonistic foreign relations with our once allies. When will these people see the light?

Yes and now we have the 'cut and run' card
and the 'impeach' card. As if whatever stupid things they've (Bush and cronies) have done in the past (like going to Iraq and impeaching Clinton), we are now honor bound to live with horrible conditions (like staying in Iraq and keeping Bush in the Whitehouse for 2.5 more years)! |
