am i the only one who thinks venus is WAY better looking than serena? venus has a nice slim body and a pretty face. many guys i know like the way serena's body (ass) is. but i just don't think she is all that. venus is my choice! i also like the fact that venus doesn't seem too smart. she nice and simple. venus is tall, slim, and fine! keep hittin that green ball sweethart!! |

even though neither one of them have a great looking face (they look too much like their dad), i have to agree that venus is more attractive than her sister. serena does have that hellacious juicy ass that no black man could turn away from looking at though. |

I used to think Serena was prettier. And I agree Serena's derriere is UBER!!!.
But Venus has cured into quite a lovely young woman. I guess because she's thinner and less muscular that makes her appear more feminine than Serena.
Still, they are BOTH 2 beautiful Black women (notwithstanding their resemblance to their father...Hahahahaha!!!). |

Statuesque Venus has a very lithe body, a cool demeanor, an inscrutable face all of which make her rather compelling. Serena is a hefty, big-boned, grinning, "brick house" and her wardrobe is a disaster. Trying to enter the ranks of a glamour girl hasn't earned her any trophys. She should ditch the frills and the blond extensions and find her own style. IMO. |

i just like females who are kind of simple and not so smart. when you listen to venus speak, atleast i can kind of tell she is not the sharpest tool in the shed (the smartest). and of love this about her, she is tall, slim, cute, and not so bright. i like females like that. i don't need a female to have a position or opinion about everything. i thing not so smart females are cute.
mzuri, i could (in the right situation) have a chance with either of them (venus or serena). i have TOTAL confidence in my physical appearence and in my ability to win over someone who i am interested in.
cynique, you hit the nail right on the head in your description of serena. she is very muscular, big-boned, and her fashion sense almost is laughable. venus is so tall, thin, cute and compelling to look at. dominique dawes though,is the most beautiful HUMAN i know of!!!!!!! |

While I don't think either sister has a rather attractive face, if I had to choose, Venus is the better-looking of the two. But I do think they seem to be sweet, young women. However, they need to hire a stylist team ASAP--and see to it that the hairdresser is top-notch. For all that money, their hair ususally looks like shyt! |

I don't know where you have been when I've commented on women like Lauryn Hill, India Arie, and Kenya Moore--all "African American" women that I think are incredibly gorgeous and who happen, by most, to be considered "darkskin". Regards to their signficant others, Rohan Marley is nothing to look at (Lauryn's man). Nothing at all--that's why I've never wrote anything about him. And I don't know who Kenya and India are involved with. Therefore, again, I can't comment. If they are dating and their men are fione then I'd proably compliment them, too. Regardless, both Rosario and Halle happen to be with VERY fione men who just happen to be white.
For whatever reason, I just think you're being too touchy--too sensitive. Because I'm definitely an individual who finds attractive qualities/features in varying "racial" groups--but I don't think that all people are beautiful because they are different than me or unattractive for the very same reason (different than me). People are people--some are attractive, some aren't.

I find it a fashion crime that they are "designers". All my girlfriends who are avid tennis players cringe when she (Serena) steps on the court in one of her personal creations. But I'm not concerned with her court appearance--she can get away with it there. It's the "red carpet" moments that make me shake me head in disappointment. Serena has her own line of cosmetics, too. Unfortunately, in all the ads, she looks like a clown. It always leaves me wondering who the hell she is paying to be her stylist--or if she needs to hire one.

Really? And when did this happen? I grew up with many children who had one white parent and no one abused nor rejected them. They lead normal lives. They did not behave any different than children who had two black parents nor were they treated any differently. In fact, my very best friends mother is white. He is the most down to earth, witty, funny and charitable person you would ever meet. He is a medical doctor and surgeon. But you would never know since he never talks about it. He is that unpretentious. Great guy. So what did he do wrong..? Should he be physically banished from the black world because of his skin color? |

mzuri, you are right you cannot look at a person and tell which parent was which. this is why the wheat (our people) and the tares (children of white men and black women) must grow together. this is why i stated i will not castigate anyone because of who their father may be. the child could not control who his father was. in my heart i understand that the children of white men and black women are not a part of our people. but many of them dwell amongst us (i have some in my family), and grow with us, so if i know someone has a white father and his or her mother is black, i don't treat them different or have animosity toward them. its just that to me, they are children of the white race. if someone is an orphan and does not know his lineage, well thats no problem. they will more than likely live and dwell amongst us, be viewed as a black person, and in the end they will either be numbered with us or they will be sifted out. i can't judge anything before its time. our people and the children of white men and black woman (and their descendants) must be allowed to grow together, because like you (mzuri) said we just cannot tell who is the child of a white man and black woman or vice-versa. its not that im saying the children of white men and black women should be treated badly, but they are not us. they are children of white men.

what i said was the children of black men and white women are a part of our people. those children are children of black men and our forefathers. the children of white men and black women are not a part of us. they are children of white men and white ancestors. the children of black women and white men are members of the white race, no matter how dark they are.
i never said anything about something being "okay". if black women want to lay down with the white man, i could't care less. but any children these black women have will be children of the white race. if a black man has a baby with a white woman that baby is a part of us. you are what your father is. thats why we have our FATHERS last name. if you put an apple seed in the ground, will an apple tree grow or will ground spring out of the ground? the seed (sperm) is planted in the woman and it grows. the black man could sleep with the most nordic blonde hair, blue eyed woman on earth. the baby is still the fathers child. likewise the white man could sleep withj the blackest sudanese woman. that baby is still the child of a white man.
moonsigns, you should go and think about how it feels for you to be a wanna-be black, white trash whore. go and think about how every move you made in your life was in order to get close to black people. how it was your dream to have a black man impregnate you so you can have a black child. go and think about how your father must feel about his white daughter having babies by a black man that looks nothing like him. go and think about how when you go out in public with your black child, black people see you and despise you (even if we are too civil to show it). you can never achieve your real dream (to be black), so everything you do is in an effort to get close to our people. what selfhating white trash you are.

Respectfully, perhaps you should stop seeking out women who are "not too smart"--Maybe someone with a little more smarts might challenge you to think such things through a bit more. What you say above has absolutely no basis in scientific fact. In our culture men have not "owned" their children for quite a while, so even culturally your argument seems off kilter.
