It seems that whenever I encounter an IR couple (white female, black male), the Caucasion woman never speaks or acknowledges me. The Black male notices this, and usually will respectful say hi when his mate is silent on purpose.
Even when her black partner is not present, she will not say hi, or make any kind of conversation. Just very rude and dismissive.
At work, I was assisting an IR couple, and the black male was quite friendly, while the white woman looked at me as if I was some kind of exotic creature. She glared at me so hard that it gave me reason to think she wanted to spark an argument with me. I found it rather odd, and quite uncomfortable.
These kind of experiences never fail when I come in contact with IR couples.
Has any other black women experienced this?

The black men probably feel ashamed, and guilty because of their dismissal of black women. And the white women probably feel insecure. She probably thinks that her man could go back to a black woman. Which is the mate that god intended for him to have. |

I agree with SS. White women are weak and insecure. Especially to have their man around a Black woman, because they know that Black ppl are naturally drawn to each other. Whenever I see an IR couple, I give the Brother the classic dirty look. You know the one - I glare at him as though he killed his mama. And I totally ignore the white bitch. I hate to seem racist but that's the way I feel about it. |

In my experiences black men with non black or white women have taken on this, "Look what I got", attitude. Going out of their way to get my attention and showing off by pointedly saying things to her like, "Buy whatever you want honey, money is no object.", and slamming the door in my face after holding it open for them. The women seemed smug and secure, very pleased with their performance. |

I really just try to ignore them. I'm just not interested in being the recipriant(?splng) of any emotional reaction,
be it pride, shame or indifference that these men might experience. |

Have you ever considered that your mindset is maybe the common denominator in why "these experiences never fail"? If you are always expecting it you'll always look for it--and your anticipation for such experiences to "never fail" will reflect in the form of (your) negative body language--most likely which, obvioulsy, you aren't even aware of.

My experience with interracial couples has been the opposite of some of yours-in my encounters with such couples, I have noticed that the black man is very hostile-he will give me the dirtiest look-while his lady just goes about her business trying not to attract attention to herself and her mate. |

I go out of my way NOT to make eye contact with them because the men will automatically assume that I have a problem with it--when I don't really care, it's none of my business. If I do make eye contact, I smile, just like I do with everyone else on the planet.
When I was with a white man, I noticed that white women would not acknowledge me at all. |
