i have been a member of this board for sometime now (more than 10 months). there are many topics that we discuss on this board. no matter what our political view, religion, nationality, when we get down to it, don't we ALL simply want to be able to love someone and for that person to love us? i know that sometimes in the heat of debate or argument we ALL are capable of saying some NASTY things to one another. but is there anyone on this board that does not want SOMEONE to care about them, love them, and be in their corner (supporting them). despite all of MY FELLINGS about any paticular issue or topic, the truth of the matter is (at least in my view) humans (me) just want to be loved. to able to be with someone who loves you, and who you love, is worth more than ALL of the discussions we can have about race, politics, religion, etc. life is just TOO short, to get TOO caught up (which i often do) in many of the issues WE ALL do. nobody wants to be alone. we should all try to find joy with WHOMEVER we can. we all deserve to be happy in our lives. no matter what i've said in the past, we ALL have to find joy in our lives, the best way we can, and with whomever. these are just my honest feelings about life. take them or leave them. |

Some people can compartmentalize love. There is a place for it in everyone's life, but to retreat into an environment of loving and being loved, not ever being alone with oneself, always having to show your love by putting the needs of another first, neutralizing your convictions for sake of companionship may not be everyone's cup of tea. Love should never be stifling and is best when it allows the object of one's affection to grow. But, yes, the presence of love is an important factor in one's well-being. |

Well, as has become a common complaint among couples, love becomes stifling when one or the other NEEDS THEIR SPACE. LOL |

Doberman! What do you think about the Bulls signing Ben Wallace??? I'm excited! The whole town is buzzin. With the exit of Tyson Chandler the final reminder of the fiasco that was Jerry Krause's attempt at revamping the Bulls has been erased. Go Bulls! |

people around here aren't happy about it, but 10 million dollars is nothing to sneeze at... it was a offer ben couldn't refuse. but on the bad side for the bulls ...ben's best basketball days are behind him. i would like for detroit to save their money and try to steal lebron james from cleveland like the bulls did us

And of course, there is always the possiblity that Tyson Chandler will come back to haunt the Bulls. He said he was looking forward to working with Brian Scott in New Orleans because he and Scott Skiles did not have good communication. If Tyson gets a coach with whom he has rapport he might finally reach his potential and turn into an outstanding center. And I agree that Ben Wallace may not live up to expectations because he's past his prime. |
