This is an old fight being revived, or was it ever dead? Maybe the fact that it's put into the public's face is a good thing. We're surely doing it in our books. A brief excerpt from the article: "Alexander believes African-American women who grew up in fatherless homes, hearing their aunts and grandmothers saying black men are no good -- and hearing that opinion reinforced in the media -- are now angry adult women." "Fatherless homes" why doesn't he address where these fathers are and their responsibility to their daughters? I haven't seen the movie, so I am not sure if it's all about sista-bashing. We need to look at relationships in the African American community as a problem for ALL OF US to solve, and quit blaming the black mothers |

I hope the movie was canned, I see no real relevance for such a film. |
