Bin Laden's former mistress is not only the subject of a new poem by Argentina's legendary poet Carlos Barbarito, but is now reportedly engaged to marry the famed wordsmith. According to Univision and Telemundo, Barbarito (51) has been staked out in Los Angeles since March trying to woo the statuesque Sudanese activist and the couple have been dating for six weeks. Kola Boof (37), who is on writing assignment for the NBC soap "Days of Our Lives", however, has evaded comment.
Friends say Boof doesn't date "interracially", but representatives of Barbarito say the Argentinian poet has African lineage and is part black.

In his latest book "Bestiarium of Love", Barbarito wrote a poem about the controversial Sudanese activist.
"MYSTERIUM: 7 Goddesses in Kola"

6 She said: If you cling to me you will cling to life, you will travel and you will not meet the rhinoceros or the tiger; you will go without arms and without a shield into the midst of the combantants.
The rhinoceros will have nowhere to put its horn, nor the tiger its claws, nor the blade its edge. Death will find no place.
7 After that, dark and light, now forms without a form, figures without a figure, nobody that could see us, in front, our heads, behind, our backs.

Kola asked me to post that THIS RUMOR IS NOT TRUE. Spanish T.V. are misreporting.
She is friends with Barbarito and nothing more.
He is back in Argentino and simply wrote a poem about Kola in his new book.
Kola has a new boyfriend but not Barbarito.

I'm glad to hear Kola has a new romance in her life. Good for her!

Zuri, note that Kola says this RUMOR is not true. She is friends with a lot of writers and poets, but people are reacting to the "romantic nature" of the poem he wrote about Kola and the fact he dedicated his new book to Kola.
Brownbeauty123, Carlos Barbarito is more famous than Kola. I'm sure he's the one getting press on Spanish television. They probably can't believe he's got the hots for someone like Kola Boof. LOL. With all the gorgeous women in Argentina, he's chasing an "ashy" African soccer mom in California! If he hadn't dedicated his new book to Kola, no one would believe it.
Kola told me her new boyfriend is black.

Obviously, everyone on this board knows who Kola Boof is. They know her life from a personal standpoint.
Obviously, she cares what the folks HERE think about her.
Obviously, she wanted me or Renata or Roxie to let people know that (A) this rumor is out there and that (B) it's not true.
So after reading THE OBVIOUS, I'd say that you're the stupid one--not to mention kinda "frenzied" and "crabby" over nothing at all.

Your opinion is one of those that I listen to, care for or respect the least around here.
