Apparently in this era of the metrosexual, men are beginning to become as obsessed with their appearance as women typically are. I recently read that men received over 11 million cosmetic procedures from physicians last year, many of which were surgical in nature. Men received over 300,000 BOTOX injections last year (for Jumpin' Jiminy Sake!!!). Guys are getting their chests, abs, calves and even A$$E$ done in ever greater numbers. And we're not just talking your stereotypical fakewannabee muscle beach types. Apparently police officers, firemen, hell, I read that even PRIESTS are getting some nipping and tucking. What do you all think of all of this artificial beautification of men? Guys: Have any of you ever gotten any changes to your appearance above/beyond your typical grooming? If so, what? And did you look better and did you feel better about yourself after. Did you afterwards feel like a wussy little girl? Or both? Ladies: Does a man getting cosmetic changes and enhancements negatively affect your view of his manhood and masculinity? You think this might be indicative a brotha possibly being a member of that infamous DL Society. Have ever dated any men who've had some work done on them? And what would you do if those broad shoulders and chest that first caught your eyes were silicone-enhanced? |

Girls...that's what they are. If the men are butt ugly or have jacked up teeth, I can understand. If he's getting liposuction because his butt looks fat in jeans, he's a straight up BITCH. |

Well, I'm just happy to see ABM at all. Forget the surgeries. I gather you're not so enchanted with me, but I hope you've been doing good, King.

Hello ABM! My thinking is that if it ain't broke - don't fix it. I prefer all my BoyFriends in their natural state, to include wrinkles and all their other "flaws." |

They probably just want to look like Superman or Captain America. The weed of comic book reading bears bitter fruit! |

i think most dudes that have their eye brows waxed (not the uni-brow guys) and have them all arched look like homos. the rock had his breastestesss done abm, i don't think he's a homo but then again he did take that role in "be cool" as a homo so u never know. speaking of which my girlfriend and i had an argument about tevin campbell... i said that he was singing to little boys back in the days and she called me a hater, so of course i got my google on and was "look at what i found". funny thing is i keep seeing stuff that says eddie murphy is gay and johnny gill is too, i sure hope eddie isn't ... he was one of my childhood heroes. kay, i'm done with my tagent. |

"Ladies: Does a man getting cosmetic changes and enhancements negatively affect your view of his manhood and masculinity?" Hard to say. I was sooooo disappointed to learn that LL got his face done. To me, he looked much better before the procedure. But I still find him manly. "Have ever dated any men who've had some work done on them? And what would you do if those broad shoulders and chest that first caught your eyes were silicone-enhanced?" I've never dated a man that went under the knife, but I'd be turned off and uninterested if he got his chest & shoulders done. Really, what's the point? Men can & have been bulking up their upper bodies for centuries without medical procedures. Bench presses & seated rows works wonders for the dedicated. No surgeon required. |
