Well Dobey, what's the rest of your story? Where was that sweet hot thang that you are always bragging about? Don't tell me you spent three hours watching King Kong with just the micro burrito, dried up popcorn and yucky gatorade sitting on your sofa all ALONE? What REEEALLY happened? Inquiring minds want to know. Spill the beans - I mean the refritos. LOL. |

Dobe: I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was well done but I also thought if you saw the original it was indeed a waste of time. Plus I didn't like them monkeying with the story ie trying to make Kong more of a sympathetic character. |

Allow me to return the favor, Doberman. I give zero stars to "White Noise", "The Ring II" and "Constantine", 3 duds long on special effects and short on coherent plot lines. Instead of waiting for it to come out on Cable, I may, however, go see "Scary Movie 4" which is coming out this week-end because I LOVE these kind of spoofs! |

well mzuri ...she pulled one of my moves when she puts in one of her movies that i think is gonna be lame ... she said hey babe i'll be back in a minute, and got on the computer and never came back in the tv room, which is fine because as i stated before i had a microwave burrito. chrishayden: king kong was terrible, i know your supposed to have a suspension of disbelief ... but you'd have to be borderline retarded to let half of that stuff ride. i'm not going to ruin ir for those who don't want to take heed, but i am going to go on a limb here and say i told u so. cynique: i was gonna rent constantine, did it really suck that bad? it looked kinda' matrixy ... i will have my brother rent it and then take it from him or something. |

As I said, "Constantine" has great special effects, Dobernman, but the plot is kind of confusing. It was based on a cartoon series, so I guess fans of the Constantine character can relate more to it than I did. I have noticed that more and more these type of movies seem focused mostly on creating eerie and haunting settings and they just end suddenly, leaving a lot of things up in the air. Did you see HellBoy? It did at least have a story line as do the Spiderman movies. |

BTW, Doberman, I liked "Crash". The characters were all stereotypical and the circumstances contrived, but the ensemble cast of characters provided just the right incredients for this slice-of-life parable. |
