Some comments are legitimate (such as Queen latifah and Debra Dickenson) but most of this is just the usual paranoid rants and allegations from the goofy mind of another hypocritical, hateful and confused militant.
(Madame CJ waker's a pimp? riiiight. -_-' And Who's saying Zora Neale Hurston is a hoax?)
If this is a joke it's a damn good one.

I never was able to view the site--probably not missing anything.
I must say that pound for pound Black women have have not when selling out, sold out as bad as the males--man when a Black man starts crawling and selling out he seems to really put enthusiasm and drive into it. |

Halle Berry handlers did a good job of hiding her skankitude.
She most defintely slept her way to the top way before Monster's Ball. Only difference is back then no one gave a damn who she was.
I recall reading how she dated both Christopher Williams and Wesley Snipes (best friends) and the two fought over her. Not sure if the guys are still friends but it defintely affected their relationship. That's probably why Wesley hit her so hard that it damaged her eardrum. She was too loose. And besides, Wesley is so not Halle's type. She had to be using him. She goes for the lightskin 'prettyboys' and white men. The new beau she has is not the first white man she dated--several years back she briefly dated one of the NKOTB members, and some white prince from another country.
During the period when Eric and Halle were separating it irked the hell out of me to hear ppl seem so outraged that a man would want to divorce/cheat on Halle Berry--as if she's a measure of a woman. Like only lesser attractive/unattractive women deserve to be cheated on. Honestly, just because she is considered to be one of the most beautiful women its perceived that she's a perfect person too? How crazy.
And I'm not buying that he was a sex addict, either. He cheated on her for the same pathetic reasons any other man would. The whole sex addict/rehab stunt was so contrived--Halle didn't want to further destruct her image of having yet another man step out on her ass--so he just had to be a sex addict cause no man would willingly cheat on her the most stunning gorgeous woman in the world by his own admission. He just had to be mental. ::rolls eyes::
And people so buy into this bull. It was painful to watch her own Oprah, while Winfrey just brushed off her halo, by further commenting on how she was just too drop dead gorgeous to have a man cheat on her/not want her/find her intolerable to be around.

Does Halle lighten her skin?
By her being biracial, she has always had a rather odd shading--while she's defintely lighter than the average Black woman, she is darker than a significant number of mulattos.
It's just that when I look at her old pageant pictures, she is very brown. And her nose was much more African looking. Back then, she most defintely looked Black.
Now, even in her candid photos, without all the Hollywood makeup that is used to make a lot of minorities and even White women appear lighter-she still looked bleached. Maybe it's products that she uses from her dermatologist to help maintain healthy skin. Because earlier in her career, she had a more Africanish brown color--opposed to the luminous light complected glow she has now. |

LOL, Tonya, I agree wholeheartedly. "Niggers" bitch and yell about her dating "light skinned" guys or white guys because "she's black and should only date DARK skinned guys".
But, it's interesting that her "blackness" should keep her from dating other people......but men's own blackness doesn't make them want black women. When it's men dating women, they just have who they choose, and it usually isn't a black woman. But a NOT EVEN FULL BLACK woman is supposed to just date them ONLY.
Just more double-standard bullshit. That she dates white men isn't a big deal to me at all. She's half black, so she's EXPECTED to like black guys. She's also half white, so she should be expected to like white guys, too. |

Renata, I wasn't complaining about her dating practices. Just pointing out that she obviously has a preference for lightskin or white men. And that Wesley Snipes is not her type at all--she usually dates the contrary. Which is why I think she was using him.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to imply that you were that type of person I was describing. Just people in general who actually complain and call her a sellout when she dates light skinned guys...never mind that her husband was a brown skinned guy. (Both of her husbands did kind of have a "pretty bitch-girl" vibe going).
She probably was using him, but men ALLOW women who look a certain way to use them and will often even realize that she's doing it, so he gets no sympathy from me. Never even mind that I don't like him anyways. |

It's cool. I'm sorry I took your post the wrong way. I understand your point.
But I think many ppl are so quick to call Halle a sell out when she dates white men is that she tends to lecture so much about blackness, and how she is so for the 'black' ppl in the US. And every achievement she makes its to prove that black woman can yadayadacheesecakes just as much as White women. From what I know of her, she only claims to be Black and nothing else--despite her partial white heritage. Therefore, when ppl see her with a White man it kinda contradicts everything she has ever said vocally in her career. If you're so for the black ppl, than why are you with a White man--with the possibility of producing whiter offspring?
I think she is a wee bit colorstruck, though. Although, she tends to date men who look like her, or have similar racial heritage--not necessarily a problem per see..but still I think she is aware that if her children look Blacker than her, they won't have as an easy time getting along with white folks the way she does. Because the only reason she is where she is, is because she doesn't look too Black.
Unless she's standing with a white man (her new boytoy) she looks blacker than ever. She doesn't look mixed standing next to her new man who is Caucasion.
