It's that time of year again! Time to pull out the plastic and make some folks happy.

So, what are you giving and what do you want?

I'm getting Fear of the Dark by Walter Mosley for my son. It's the latest Fearless Jones book.

For my Dad: What Your Doctor Hasn't Told You And The Health Store Clerk Doesn't Know: The Truth About Alternative Treatments And What Works by Edward Schneider. He's been taking supplements, etc. for years and recently had a serious health scare so I think he'll appreciate this.

For me: I've re-discovered my love of sewing and have several sewing books on my list. And I'm behind on a couple of Tananarive Due books so I think I'll add them in.

Don't forget to navigate through AALBC on your way to the book sites!

Thank You Crystal, sewing huh, for some reason I never saw you as a ....sewing type of ....of....women (smile).

Walter Mosley has been leaving me wanting. I don't know, and I really hate to say this but hasn't Mr. Mosley been "captured" by the new crowd.

Cut the pap, Carey! Whassup with your situation, babe? Are you writing from the lonliness of a cell?? Huh? Huh? Huh? Tell us. We're waitin to hear.
Mosley's writing crosses genres. He's prolific enough to write something for everyone. I still consider him one of our premiere black male autho

OoooooooK, Carey, sorry for being insensitive. Hope you had things to be thankful for during the past holiday and that the rest of the old year and the start of the new year will be favorable for ya! :-)

Carey: where do you think that clown suit came from?

Mosley is my son's favorite and I enjoy his stories also. I'm not sure exactly what you mean but his Easy Rawlins and Fearless Jones stories have always been about the streets.

Cynique: I'm not about to ask him what's going on since he's already accused me of trying to get in his business - ALTHOUGH he did put it out there didn't he? hahaha!

Yeah, Crystal, Carey did indeed, pique our curiosity and stir our concern only to leave us hanging. Oh, well.
