Just finished this excellent novel. Was reading the follow-up questions and it said something about not knowing Jackie's gender. Well on page 126 last paragraph; he refers to jackie as a female " Not only was Jackie sexy, but SHE was suprisingly intelligent." Was this a mistake or him trying to throw us off the trail? |

Hey Ismsean, I too enjoyed this novel. However, I think you just posted a BIG spoiler for a lot of people who haven't read the book yet. Anyway, I think it was either a mistake or done on purpose. You know how sometimes gay people call each other the opposite gender? "Hey Girlfriend." It could have been one of those situtions. I remember reading something like 'every mistress dreams of becoming the Mrs.' which was the passage that threw me off when the secret was revealed. |
