I wrote this in my blog today, I thought I'd share it. From Knight Writer http://dakotaknight.blogspot.com I googled my name just to see where the website and blog were on the listings. My blog was number two, followed by a website about a DSR-Dakota Knight A-65. I was intrigued. I clicked on the link, expecting to see some type of vehicle, but I was oh so wrong. It seems that I share my name with a bull, that's bull as in cattle. Even worse, this poor bull's semen is for sale for $ 15.00. The bull's seed costs five cents more than a copy of my book will cost when it's released in December ($ 14.95). Not that I think anyone will mistake me for a bull (even though I've been known to dish some out from time to time), but I don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling from sharing my name with an animal. So, what's in a name? Who, or what, do you share your name with? P.S. Just in case you have a cow that needs artificial insemination, the company that sells my namesake's semen is Bovine Elite. |
