Greetings,
Brandon Massey here. I'd like to announce something that may be of interest to bookclubs.
My new thriller, THE OTHER BROTHER, will be published by Dafina/Kensington in July. To help generate advance buzz, I am distributing numerous galleys to bookclubs across the country.

Please tell me where your bookclub is located, and how many members you have. Galleys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you receive a galley, I'll be encouraging you to select THE OTHER BROTHER for discussion in
your club. Passing a galley around for everyone in the club to read isn't exactly the best
way to support an author--you show support best by purchasing the book when it hits stores. Just thought I'd mention that. :-)

Hummm, Brandon Massey. I've always felt that you can tell a lot about what to expect from a book in terms of writing and storyline by how concise and on point the synopsis is; which is to say, your book sounds like a winner to me! |

Congrats! Well, that's a pretty good excuse for missing the Expo.
One point, tho (and you should appreciate this, writer that you are):
Do you mean to say
1) "Actually, I am getting married..." (~= I would go, but I have other plans)
~or~
2) "I am actually getting married!!!" (~= I can't believe I'm really getting married!)
LOLOL! Whatever the case, congrats. And nice sample, too. |

Actually, I should have said: I AM getting married that weekend--period. Because if I don't, my fiancee and her family will hunt me down and dispose of me in a manner far worse than any I've ever used to kill a character in a book. LOL |
