Troy, THIS is why I so honored you in my autobiography, King. A major mistake people make....that you have not.... be it HIP HOP fiction or Kola Boof....is that you don't expect to "like" something in order to determine if it has LEGS or not. Every since you first read "Long Train", you've been promoting and pushing me like crazy. And the New York Times was right when they said that....YOU.....will go down in history in the 21st Century for being the one to establish the very first Internet-Created Literary star. ME, KB. You're just TOO SMART, boy. And we're both JOHNSONS!!!! Congrats on being in BLACK ISSUES BOOK REVIEW. It's only the beginning. What you are DOING HERE.....is LEGENDARY. This is where the Black writers come---the very biggest. The top agents, the industry gossip wags. We all talk about it--some of us post our real names. But mark my words. This board is going to become a historical landmark in the Black Literary Canon of the early 21st Century. 70 years from now....people will be STUDYING our posts.

Thank you one and all! I appreciate the kind words and votes of confidence. I was proud to be included in the article. I was in some great company -- people I respect and admire. Despite the maturity of the web, it is unusual for web sites to be recognized for contributing to the advancement of Black books. So I commend BIBR for recognizing the importance of the web in general and AALBC.com in particular. Right now, I'm sitting here trying to deal with web site problems... I won't bore y'all with the details, but your kinds words come at a good time, 'cause sometimes this is just a pain in the butt... Thanks again.
